I ordered a size up from the recommendation
This coat is hot! Almost too hot but should be fine in the Minnesota winter, January maybe. It suggested a 2X based on previous purchases but I wanted to be sure a sweater could fit underneath. 3X was perfect. I am 5' 4" maybe 180 lbs. Bust is my problem at 44G things don't fit well for me but this jacket is great
