Improves the sound of my 2012 Mustang v6. I have Magnaflow racing series rear axles. The addition of this CAI removed the hum my car was making at over 1200 rpm. This gives it a nice little gurgling sound at idle and a harsher noise on startup. I got this before adding the shorty headers and it's the best you can install yourself to help with the audio and clean up the back of the axle after sale. Until you change the headings from the course. In terms of performance, I doubt it's added much, if anything. Although the response to the accelerator seems to be better. Until I connect it to the melody, I doubt it will give me much leeway.
