To avoid using too many paper towels, I left them in the trash can in the kitchen. I have a separate laundry bucket for her. We use them instead of paper towels to dry our hands, clean up spills, apply disinfectant to surfaces, etc. They don't absorb as much moisture as paper towels but are more environmentally friendly. They wash well and hold up well to multiple washes. Some are cut a bit crooked and don't fold into a pretty square, but my OCD can handle it.
