First of all, this case is heavy and durable. It feels like he can stop a bullet. I got this to protect the tablet from my 5 year old and his arms are hanging under the extra weight so his biceps are growing incredibly fast and I'm afraid I'll have the Hulk on my arms every day. The biggest problem I've encountered is the buttons, which are extremely difficult to press. The power button often requires me to press very firmly (maybe the Fire tablet just doesn't register my button presses for a minute, I'm not sure). My son will definitely not be able to adjust the volume or turn the tablet on and off without adult help. Maybe that's a plus, not a minus, if you think about it! At this price point, unless you have degenerative muscle disease or need to keep your tablet in a manila binder, I think this is a great case.
