Review on ๐Ÿ’ก TESSAN Multi Plug Outlet Splitter with USB: Ultimate Surge Protection and USB Charging Power for Home Office Dorm Room by Kyle Costello

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good profile and does not block the second original socket

I have an odd socket in a place where I need three sockets instead of two. This outlet has a dedicated ceiling fan outlet with a light switch to control it (top outlet only). Yes, it's weird, and no, I can't fix it. I need a good low profile splitter and it does the job perfectly. It allows the use of three Type B connectors and two Type A connectors (Type A - 2 pins, Type B - 3). And three USB sockets on top. Type A sockets are on the side, which is great as they're unlikely to be flush with the wall. I wish they were that small on more devices. (They shouldn't be any bigger) The only downside I've found is that the type A plugs are *very* tight, although the holes suggest they are for polarized type A plugs. So this only gets 4 stars. Adding and removing Type A connectors is a tricky task (so much so that I wasn't sure I could get one without damaging the cable). Despite the downside, I'll be buying another for another place where I need to plug in a non-polarized Type A plug and not have it stick out. Non-polar plugs work well.
