A very important characteristic of a digital meter when measuring DC voltage is the input impedance. Typically, this specification is 10 million ohms. I couldn't find this spec anywhere on the Revain website, so I took a chance and ordered this gauge. The leaflet that came with this meter lists this specification as 10 million ohms. To confirm, I measured with a 6 volt battery in series with a 10 million ohm resistor and meter. In fact, the voltmeter read 3 volts. I really like this gauge and should come in handy when troubleshooting automotive electrical problems.
