I didn't realize I needed these but I'm so glad I stumbled across this. I have the clamps and based on the review data I think this is an updated version of the glue. I feel like they are really secure in their place. The plastic looks sturdy and high quality. The installation went quickly. It took me longer to open the box and remove the plastic wrap than to install. They fit perfectly on my 99 TJ. The hood latch isn't a problem, but mine is up again. If you're looking for a quick, stylish, and inexpensive modification for your Jeep, I'm in it.
