Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Genesis Universal Brake Bleeder Bottle: Optimized for Solo Use with Stainless Steel Cable Mount and 12 Inch Fluid Tube by Paul Dobson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Use these instead of the cheap ones that come with bleed kits

This is a much better trap bottle than the ones that come with bleed kits. Have several sets and the bottles that come with are very small, they leak and cannot hold a vacuum. The rest is mostly useless. This unit is much larger and has good tightness. I use it for brake and clutch vacuum bleeding, not pressure relief bleeding. When vacuum pumping, you must first seal the wire band rivet with silicone because it leaks. I don't know if it will leak pressurized fluid, but I suspect it may, and as you probably know, brake fluid is an excellent paint remover. In a vacuum, the bottle wants to collapse, but that's not a problem since the vacuum isn't that great. You could probably put some hard plastic in the bottle to keep it from breaking if that bothers you.

Pros

Cons
  • Don't really like it everything is fine
