Review on πŸ”₯ Hobart 770286 Flip Front Welding Helmet: Superior Protection for Welding Professionals by James Nielsen

Perfect cheap face shield for your assistant or backup.

Overall a solid machine for the price but not for the modern welder. I STRONGLY recommend buying a modern auto-darkening welding mask, which is much more ergonomic and easier to weld than a face with fixed dark lenses. For a temporary worker, assistant or apprentice to watch a welder at work on a part or for heavy duty grinding this is ideal. Too bulky and outdated for easy welding, but affordable enough to be almost disposable. Benefits: - Perfect for a temporary worker, assistant or trainee to watch a welder at work on a part without having to worry about your good and expensive personal protective equipment. (You only get 1 pair of eyes. Take good care of them.) - It's damn good to grind up the face shield with the dark lens. View is narrow, but a clear lens under a dark lens comes in handy. For the price, I'm less concerned if it gets damaged, which most likely won't be the case (robust construction). - Economical emergency backup for those with auto-fade face masks that may fail at the precise critical moment you need the JOB! have to finish.
