Update February 28, 2018 Water intake stopped after about 6 months. now about 9 months old. it stopped working completely. very disappointed. DO NOT BUY I have been using Tetra HOB (Back Hanging) filters for 12 years. The ones I bought 12 years ago are very well made. But this new filter from Tetra looks very cheap. What happened to Tetra? The lid needs help closing it, the hoses are so loose I double them to last a year. The only plus is that it's quiet. I'll hold it for a while and see how it goes.
