My dog could never be free range let alone in an unfenced area. She was always pushing my kids out the door and I had to chase her for over an hour at a time. Refused to come when called. It was awful to deal with and the constant worry that she would run away, get hurt or get lost was always on my mind. I spoke to a friend who is a dog trainer and lives in the South and she recommended this collar to me. A few YouTube videos and our dog is alert and obedient. She can stay in our front yard without a fence. It improved their quality of life and ours. She is Newfoundland and the collar fits her perfectly despite all her fluff. Highly recommended. The price is right. Cheaper ones are cheap for some reason, tried previous collars and gave up. In this photo she is hanging out in our unfenced yard. She hung out with us for hours and that was on the third day with a collar.
