Review on Posture Corrector For Men & Women - Portzon Back Brace Support Relief Neck, Shoulders Pain by Andy Kucrud

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty good good for me

I'm starting to get very poor posture from working on a computer all day. I was hoping this brace would help me to stop hunching over. It does keep me sitting straighter and I do feel some pressure coming off of my shoulders and neck while wearing it. Hopefully it will eventually teach me not to slouch. After I take it off, I do feel a bit sore. Maybe this is part of the adjustment period. It didn't come with any recommendations or instructions for use. Putting it on is pretty easy to figure out. I think it runs small, you'll probably want to order a size larger. I'm 5'9, 170lbs, women's size 10 or large, and the large just fits with no extra room. My son wears a men's medium and it just fits him with no extra room. It is supposed to be fitted to do its job but you still need to be able to velcro it. It doesn't feel too bad to wear it, it's padded and not super bulky. The only thing I don't like is that it rubs under my armpits if I'm not wearing a thick shirt under it.

Pros
  • Helps those with spinal stenosis
Cons
  • May be too uncomfortable to wear in hot weather

They do not stay in place, my ankles are too small for this item. I have worn ankle weights in the past and I find that these are bulky and uncomfortable.
