I had an oil leak around the crankcase ventilation/oil separator on my 2010 E350 4Matic. I swapped the original for this one and no more oil loss. My car has clocked 80,000 miles and has been leaking for a while. It is particularly difficult to get at 1 screw. Go to the pawn shop and buy an old wrench, then go to the cargo docks and get a T10 head for a deep well. Cut about 1cm from the end of the deep well and weld it to the end of the wrench. This makes it much easier to get into the tiny gap between the fire wall and the oil separator and, thanks to the additional depth, prevents the key from slipping off.
