Love this scale. It replaces an old device that is very similar. However, this thing has a few minor feature differences that greatly improve the user experience. First, I like the backlit display. I haven't, and often when I had a large pot or bottle or similar on the scale the shadow cast by the larger vessels would make the display difficult to see at times. Second, my old device uses a large watch battery, this one uses the ubiquitous AAA batteries. Much easier to replace if needed. Third and most importantly, my old scale only went up to 11 pounds, this thing doubles that. So when I'm making a large batch of something, I no longer have to measure half in one jar, half in the other and then combine. I can mix everything in a jar if I want.
