Good job for stairs
I used this on a smaller single step stair of the same design. This hinge wasn't designed for that, but it was the same as my old one in every way, except it was longer. Because of this, the holes did not match. No problem. It's aluminum, I had no problem trimming it, drilling new holes and using the screws that came with it. This saved me $$$ compared to re-welding my old loop.
