I have a 2022 Outback and wanted to protect the large display from scratches and damage. I wiped away any dust and fingerprints I could find with a microfiber cloth, then wiped with an alcohol wipe, then again with a microfiber cloth. After getting an idea of how the protector would fit, I removed the backing and held the protector in place with the holes for the entertainment system buttons. I stuck the tread from the bottom up, keeping the tread properly aligned, and then buffed it from the top to get rid of a few bubbles that had formed. I was happy that none of the bubbles were difficult to remove and used a microfiber cloth to squeeze them out on the sides of the tread. I've noticed that the profile feels smoother than the plastic display and I've had no issues with the NAV system at all.
