I liked the color/design of my new curtains but they didn't have any ties on the back and I just didn't care how they looked they just hung on a rod with no ties. I wanted to use these drawstrings as they don't clash with the design of my curtains but add a little more interest as they hold the curtains together. (Plus they look amazing!) The description says you can bend them and they stay (unlike traditional tiebacks) so I took a chance and I'm glad I did, although they caused a problem . The problem was that I wanted them to pull the inside of the curtains to the outside of the window instead of pulling them from either side which meant I had to fasten them in the same way as traditional ties. I took some wire clips and they worked great for this. The ribbons will bend slightly and keep the shape you put them in. They are really pretty and well made. It really made my windows/curtains go from blah to wow! I can definitely recommend them and would buy them again.
