I ordered some new powered speakers and wanted to use them with an old mini stereo I had, but the only stereo output is bare speaker wire. I was able to screw them to the ends of the speaker wire in seconds and my stereo now has an RCA output. How about? An unrelated old man murmurs: My active speakers have two RCA inputs. One of them is used to connect my player directly. I plug my mini stereo into the other. My mini stereo has a CD player, an AM/FM tuner, a cassette deck, and an AUX input that I connect my TV to. So I have an entire entertainment center running off just two speaker inputs. I can get rid of about 35 pounds of hi-fi components and still have everything hooked up. These adapters were the final piece of the puzzle to make this possible!
