Review on 16-Pack NANE Demineralization Cartridge for HoMedics Ultrasonic Humidifiers - Filter Mineral Deposits, Prevent Hard Water Build-Up, Purify Water, Eliminate White Dust and Odor by Joshua Castillo

I didn't like the white dust I usually pick up with the humidifier so I gave these a try. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? I've tried one and I've tried 4 at a time but the white dust I'm getting is crazy and MUCH worse than before using it. The photo I've attached is from behind/under my computer which I have on my desk which was already a bit dusty but nothing like that as I tidy up there sometimes. The inside of my computer also needs a thorough cleaning, as does almost every other surface within reach of my humidifier. I cleaned my humidifier (a couple of random 1 gallon Revain's) well before first use, but now it seems to be even worse. I use regular tap water straight from the sink and we don't have hard water, not sure if that matters. Luckily I got it done before winter, but when the time comes I'll have to do something else. I'll happily change my rating if I find out the reason is something other than this or I'm doing it wrong or something like that, but for now I have to say no to that
