Bought these for my humidifier which I use in my bedroom all winter to prevent sinus infections. They seem to do a lot better on white dust than the ones I've used before and the price was better.

I often use two humidifiers without built in filters and the water in my area often smells like swamp. Thanks to these little things, humidifiers do not emit white particles into the air. In my case, one cartridge lasts about a month.

This is an interesting concept and seems to mostly help get rid of the white dust caused by the humidifier I have have no filter. It has a very large fill tank and using distilled water would be expensive. This takes a few of them and I have more to add. Which definitely helped me to solve the problem.

This was a lot cheaper than a Homedics brand demineralizer. The main difference, however, is that this item floats in water instead of sinking to the bottom like Homedics. Also, soot seems to be leaking out. I didn't use it in a humidifier, just put it in a cup to soak up and that was my observation.

I've bought a couple of different Taotronics humidifiers and they are producing white dust that is driving me crazy! They don't have filters so I decided to try these carts and the reviews were good. I gave them a few days and the white dust did NOT go away. Took them out again and tried using distilled water instead of Brita filtered water and no more dust. I gave back these blue nuggets of worthlessness.

Demineralization cartridges were out of stock at all of our local stores so we took a chance and bought them from Revain. The price seemed too good to be true, but it wasn't. We received a ton of cartridges that came at a great price. We've been using them for a couple of weeks now and they're doing the job. No more white dust from our humidifiers, even with our hard water. They work great and are very cheap. If you're not sure, dare. This product delivers.

I have them in both my large and small humidifier. My house has very hard water and I always fill my humidifiers with filtered water. There are three of these in a large humidifier and one in a small one. I put cartridges in humidifiers two months ago. During that time, I have not noticed any change or improvement in terms of the white "dust" generated by the large humidifier. A smaller humidifier leaves virtually no white residue. I didn't like the white dust I usually pick up with the humidifier so I gave these a try. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? I've tried one and I've tried 4 at a time but the white dust I'm getting is crazy and MUCH worse than before using it.
