Great monitor to easily switch between my work laptop and PC

I am writing this review as a data point to say that my monitor had no dead pixels or glare. I specifically bought the monitor model M32Q. I've seen a lot of other dead pixel/light bleed reviews and was nervous but I had an Amazon Prime return policy and I live in a big city so I figured if I got a bad model I could reasonably return the product with Prime and get a replacement. I recently changed jobs to a new company that didn't allow me to use my personal desktop as my work computer and I had to work from my personal laptop. I'm having a very good home desktop experience with a PC I built myself and wanted to be able to easily switch mouse/keyboard/webcam/mic/speakers between devices. I started looking for KVM switch monitors to switch peripherals between desktop and work laptop with the push of a button. This monitor covered all my needs and more, and cost half the price of other monitors I've found in the market with USB-C connector KVM switches have searched. - KVM switch - High refresh rate - 1440p - (4K resolution would be too complex for my graphics card to really benefit from a high refresh rate monitor) - Large display to replace my 2 x 24 inch 1080p monitors which I've used before - PIP and PBP mode - G-sync compatible The only odd thing I've noticed is that the monitor mount has issues and won't "snap" fully into place. So if I were reckless and tilted my monitor insanely far back, I could accidentally pull it off and crash it onto my desk. While it's quite a noticeable physical handicap, I was considering having it VESA mounted to my desk anyway, which wouldn't have the same issues as having it screwed into the back of the monitor. not in the holder. Fasten using the method most standard fasteners use. I am still giving this review 5 stars for all the benefits I have received from this product, especially at its price. Or maybe I just installed the stand incorrectly and was too impatient to connect it properly - it could be user error with this installation. This monitor has greatly improved the cable management of my desktop with 3 USB 3.0 ports. I now have a keyboard, microphone and webcam connected to the monitor. (I have a Razer Deathadder 2.0 mouse with switchable Bluetooth and 2.4Hz modes, so I can switch between my desktop and work laptop separately. If the mouse didn't have this feature, I wouldn't use the webcam/keyboard/mouse use for the KVM switch. ) I am also very satisfied with the resolution. 1440p seemed like the right resolution for my Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card to still maintain consistently high frame rates in demanding games and still look amazing. This 32" display was a nice upgrade over the previous one as I was using 2 separate 24" 1080p 60Hz monitors side by side. It's a nice big display with a 16:9 aspect ratio that works well in all games and you can enjoy full screen mode when watching videos as opposed to ultrawide where you see black bars. I've never had a display above 60Hz because I didn't really think it would make a difference / I wasn't competitive enough to notice the difference, but 165Hz felt completely different to me and I didn't have it expected. This monitor features an OSD sidekick with a joystick on the back of the monitor to control your display settings. It also supports Picture in Picture (PiP) and Picture by Picture (PbP) so I can view/control both my work laptop and my personal desktop on the same monitor at the same time in the same place - even supporting different display schemes. Great price with o Can't recommend it highly enough.
