This trunk was suitable for our flight, it barely fit under the seat. It got dirty on the way so I took it apart to put it in the washing machine. The strong part of the base is made of thick cardboard and packaging foam in a cloth sleeve. Cardboard/fiberboard is absorbent and non-washable. I like to use the carrier as a niche and leave it open for play and entertainment. This is not possible with this provider. When the side is untied, the top folds onto the base.
