Surprisingly frustrating assembly

Assembly was very painful:* Instructions are fine but the pictures of all parts look the same. It's good that no two things are the same. I could piece together what's what based on the quantities. *You need to insert these plastic caps into the ends of the tubes and some of them are too small to fit all the way in. One of them broke during this process. *Sometimes I had to bend the metal tube to line up the screw holes properly. One day this hanger will release all this potential energy like a mighty spring that will rip apart the fabric of time and space and destroy the universe.* The hardest part is attaching the "ring" to the base. With needless effort to put everything in order, I scratched the paintwork several times. After assembly everything is ready. functional. My raincoat, which is admittedly not a lightweight coat, keeps it on the brink of falling off unless I balance it out with more jackets. It just about manages as the inconvenience of taking it apart, sending it back, getting a refund and finding something designed by someone competent outweighs the inconvenience of simply storing this thing. Hardly.
