Review on HERO 72 Watercolor Pencils: Vibrant Colors for Art Students & Professionals - Set of 72 by Jessica Clay

Good quality colored pencils with a wide range of colours. Many different shades of multiple colors making it easy to blend and shade images. It suppresses color well, and when activated with water the color softens a bit but blends well. I found it easiest to use a water brush with them. Each pencil is numbered and comes in a handy metal tin with a color code on the inside of the lid. However, I would have liked a color key printout or something smaller to take with me as I love to paint on the go. So I made my own, which worked better anyway because the pins end up being color coded, but I found that a couple of pins didn't match the actual color. It's still handy though, as it gives you a clue instead of having to dig through 72 pegs that all look the same. The pencils are sharpened and have a unique shape. Almost triangular, which is great because then they don't roll off the table. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would buy it again.
