Review on 📶 C. Crane Super USB WiFi Antenna 3 - Best Long Range WiFi Booster for Windows PC - Extended Reach Beyond Regular WiFi Extender - 2.4 GHz by Mufti Carter

Installed exactly as recommended/specified. I had the antenna mounted on a galvanized metal pole about 5 feet above my roof. At first I saw about 7 more networks (a separate list of my laptops built into the list of Wi-Fi adapters) and some had 5 bars where previously I could only get a maximum of 2 bars. I've seen wifi at 4 bar KOA campgrounds about 0.75 miles away but it was amazing. But I left and went back to the laptop and then the networks didn't show up anymore. The separate list of networks from the antenna is gone. Since then I've called C Crane and tried multiple times to restart the laptop, unplug the laptop and plug it back in, plug in both USB cables, reinstall software, check the red and blue lights on the antenna, try to fix that install RaLink utility and so on. etc. and I can't get any networks other than what my built in adapter can get. Needless to say I am very angry and very disappointed and am returning it. .UPDATE - I bought a C Crane repeater so I don't have to plug it in to get the antenna signal. So far it works great, great reception. So if you want that antenna I highly recommend you also buy a repeater (currently only through the C Cranes website) or you might end up getting as pissed off as I did.
