This is the First Pen Shaped Needle Felting Tool I've Ever Used and I'm Very Glad I Have It! I have a wider tool (also from Clover) that holds five needles, but it's not great for small or 3D projects (I use it for cookie cutter decorations and wall hangings). For small projects and 3D objects I used a single needle without a holder. I decided it was time to scale it up a bit and try out some pen holders. I chose the Clover 1-3 Needle Pen because I liked other Clover products, including some for needle felting. The needle holder is a good size and shape and works very well. I've only used it with three needles so far, but I really like how much faster everything works. The needles are close together, making it easy to check the treated area. A NOTICE. The three needles in the kit are "good" (Clover needles only come in two sizes) and are best for trimming, detailing, and fine detailing. . You should use smaller diameter felting needles for the cores. Clover doesn't number their needles, but maybe they're 39/40? If you need pins to get further into the project you're working on, e.g. B. for a larger 3D animal, the upper pink part is removable. However, be aware that needles can break easily (and it is not recommended to use the needles provided), especially when using 2/3 needles. Twist the white ring off the pink pin to replace the pins. The clear needle cover has ridges that fit into a recess in the pink top of the tool.
