Great filter for the whole house. We are at the village well. We could not determine a drop in pressure. I replaced it for the first time today after 2 months (4 people in the house). It definitely serves its purpose. It was filled with silt to the innermost layers, about 1 micron in size. I installed a three stage large blue filter system, then a pH neutralizer and finally a UV system. The first chamber is a washable 30 micron sediment filter. I cleaned it today; it was pretty dirty after 2 months. 2nd big blue is the cartridge. The last big blue one is a 10 micron charcoal file. This filter is not washable but has lasted 2 months. I plan to order another one soon so we are prepared for a sudden drop in water pressure. I have bypasses built into my entire filtration system, but I only want to use them when needed.
