Using the Arduino with the CH340 USB chip is not as convenient or easy as with 16U2, Arduino's original design. But there are many solutions, so I tried this product. I couldn't get it to work after trying to install every CH340 driver I could find online. However, when I looked closely at the software messages, I found that for some unknown reason, computers think it's an FTDI chip. There is no marking on the device's USB chip, so I can't tell if it's CH340 or FTDI. So I tried the FTDI driver instead and it works fine on my Windows machine. it also works on an Ubuntu machine.
