Description of πŸ”§ Treedix 2-Pack ATmega328P CH340 Development Board - Arduino UNO R3 Compatible Kit Ideal for Beginners

The board is a microcontroller board based on the CH340. It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. This is compatible board with an Atmega328p and a CH340G serial converter, 100% Compatible with Arduino UNO R3. This board has the following new features: 1.0 pinout: added SDA and SCL pins that are near to the AREF pin and two other new pins placed near to the RESET pin, the IOREF that allow the shields to adapt to the voltage provided from the board. In future, shields will be compatible with both the board that uses the AVR, which operates with 5V and with the Due that operates with 3.3V. The second one is a not connected pin, that is reserved for future purposes. Stronger RESET circuit. Friendly: the board is easy to use for Arduino starter, It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started. We strive to put our hundred percent to meet your requirements and try our best to achieve your satisfaction!

avrdude: stk500_cmd(): Programmer out of sync

Note that this clone is not plug and play. You cannot contact the seller because of software problems. You try to fix the error yourself. Messages.

Fixed issue for Computer Components

Update: There was a problem with one of the blocks. The seller contacted me to ask how they could fix this and very quickly sent a new unit. Good people to do business with, I've been just as good with others as they have. These Arduinos work great and are inexpensive.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Unsure

1/2 worked for single board computers

Great price for 2pcs Arduino Uno clones. Unfortunately 1 was DOA, the other worked great and continues to work. Same program, same board, but one works and the other doesn't. Since I have 15 programs running the same program I know it's not the software and not the board as I can easily replace it. Great value if you are working 2, not so much if only 1.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • For seniors

Good boards but check solder joints before powering on

Good price. They work as expected. An interesting version of the Uno R3; I like the extra touchpoints. Unfortunately, both had soldering problems. One had a solder ball shorting two pins on the CH340 and the other had a solder jumper between the AREF and GND pins. Simple fixes but could be ugly if I hadn't tested them before using them.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Excellent Uno compatibility, with extra row of wire holes

I bought 12 of these to make COVID respirators and they all worked as expected. They have the significant advantage that they have an additional row of holes for wires, which means you can both glue the shield and solder the wires directly onto the circuit board. In my case I made a wire harness from the wire holes on one board to a shield that connects to another - worked very neatly and wasn't worried about the wires popping out during use. An excellent deal for a quality board with extra…

kick for the money! Trouble connecting to a PC? Do it

Using the Arduino with the CH340 USB chip is not as convenient or easy as with 16U2, Arduino's original design. But there are many solutions, so I tried this product. I couldn't get it to work after trying to install every CH340 driver I could find online. However, when I looked closely at the software messages, I found that for some unknown reason, computers think it's an FTDI chip. There is no marking on the device's USB chip, so I can't tell if it's CH340 or FTDI. So I tried the FTDI driver…

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Can't remember

As advertised* <<--note the asterisk! :-)

They fit my needs exactly. Of the two boards I received, one already had "Blink" loaded. It also has a very tight fitting USB Type B connector. I suspect this could be a buyer return. It works, the price is low, no damage and no foul. As for the asterisk in the title, the listing clearly states that it uses a CH340 USB to serial converter. I knew what to expect from illegal clones. I knew what to expect, so buyers didn't feel bad when I had to jump through hoops to get them to work on my Linux…

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly
