Surge-protected multifunction sockets are practical for charging electronic devices and are also a USB port. Item is solid and well made. The LED indicator in the USB port is also useful to see that the device is charging, red light and charging complete, green light. There is also an LED light on the top of the product. The downside of this item, in my opinion, is that the light is always on, which bothers me at night and worries me about my electricity consumption, even though I know there isn't much of a difference in my electricity bill. Another point, it would be better if the USB port was at the top because I found that if the electrical appliance plug is long, it will cover the side of the USB port.
