These socks are not what I expected, in a good way! All of my other hiking-type socks are super absorbent, but eventually reach the point where they start rubbing on my feet after a while. The material that was used to manufacture these socks are unlike anything I’ve ever worn. It’s almost like putting on some sort of diving material. I’m a size 9.5 in US women’s shoe size, and they fit really well. I was very skeptical that these would be comfortable for long periods of time, but they were really amazing! After a 5K, it still felt like my feet were snuggled up in a soft and flexible material. If I saw these in the store, I would probably pass them by, going for the more traditional pair of hiking socks, but it just goes to show that it pays off to take risks. I will definitely be more open to socks made of a similar material in the future!
