Review on Dorman 674 608 Integrated Catalytic Converter by Kenneth Witte

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Normal replacement for your money.

So a few things to install. First remove the bolts that attach to the exhaust pipe (bottom bolts) from the Honda. You should be able to reuse your springs, but the bolts will most likely come loose and the ones that came with the kit will not work properly. . Be careful as it can start a fire if you spray it if the parts are too hot. Third, reassemble the entire block to verify the installation of the parts before removing the old exhaust manifold. It's also easier to remove some of the bolts while the block is still warm (but don't try to touch the old header while it's very hot or you'll burn yourself). Fourth, the Haynes manual is useful for tightening specifications and disassembly/assembly steps. If you're removing an old block, take a picture and trace your bolts. While the new one will have some hardware, some of it will be reused. Fifth, after the old unit has failed, you need to install both O2 sensors in the new one (I didn't replace either O2 sensor, but it's recommended to do so). ). They are more difficult to install when the header is in the car.
