Part fits and works like the original. As another reviewer noted, it either sticks or deviates by about half a millimeter, so there's a very, very slight vibration coming from the door when you open it. I'm not sure if there is a break-in period. The door closes normally. Installation was difficult about 2 out of 5. Took me less than 30 minutes - lots of instructional videos on YouTube. The hardest part is fitting the new piece around the window rail and making sure the vertical bar in the door is back in the slot. Do yourself a favor, check everything (INCLUDING the hand lock switch next to the door handle on the inside) before you close everything.
