Extra line always pointing at the 6?

I love the looks of this little clock. I wanted it for my second bathroom and it looked great. Unfortunate that is where it ends. The face is slightly crooked so the 12 is not exactly at the top. This I could get over but I realized after a couple days I could never tell the time because there is an extra line on the face, lol. That little line pointing at the 6, yeah what is that? Maybe it’s for the alarm but all I know is had to check my Fitbit to actually tell the time in that room. It’s in the donate pile.
