This item was a cheap but stylish choice. I'm glad I decided to do this. For a long time I used the command bar to hang my keys, and while it did the job it looked unsightly. At the height of my laziness, I literally hung this thing up by placing the command bar I already had in the center of the holder and using the thumbtacks in the holes where the screws were supposed to secure it. It works great and leaves tiny holes in my wall that I doubt my homeowner won't notice. Also, yes, it can handle things on it. I wouldn't hang anything ridiculously heavy on it or anything, but a couple of keys and some mail would freeze in there just fine. Anyway, it's cool and I'm happy with my purchase.
