Absolutely not ! Before my dog was started on the Royal Canin diet she was lethargic, having intermittent seizures and over weight. In less than a weeks time of starting her on this food she perked up , had better bowel movements and the seizures stopped. I had thought I was feeding her the best but it contained grain. which for a large majority of Miniature doberman pinschers is no bueno. My boyfriends Rottweiler/ Lab mix has also switch to royal canin and went from deaths door to playful and active. THis has been my experience I hope your pet will have the same response !
