Review on Enhance Your Dodge/RAM's Power: K&N Cold Air Intake Kit (2009-2019 5.7L V8) – 77-1561KP by Eric Miller

I got this for a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 with Hemi 5.7. Overall the fit and finish of the product is great and installation was very quick, the only thing that took longer. Second, figuring out which support bolt on the wing needed to be removed so the fuselage could be properly erected. The appearance of the product is fantastic. With that in mind, the downside is that the chrome pipe was installed on a fairly hot day. I think the temp was somewhere north of 100f so the plastic in the kit was a bit warm to say the least. The piece connecting the breather tube to the heads has snapped in two just below the bolt head. So, with the top half of the now utterly useless part in hand, he went to the auto parts store to try and assemble something. Now I have a spiritual part to this job, but that was because I already had a faucet and a dye kit, which I most likely don't have. So I also called tech support which wasn't open on Saturday. . Her workday was 9am to 5pm, just like everyone else who works to buy these things, so that didn't work for me either (I work on the weekends, which probably most of those who do such buy things). I'm still happy with it overall, but won't be buying it again because of the _different_ hemisphere we have. We're sticking with the plastic model for this, since hooking up to these threads will be easy (and since it doesn't seem to require much quality control).
