Connects immediately. While it works great. I ordered the other 5, namely C-608, from this manufacturer on Revain. Note, as in the title, this is for an earlier Pathfinder from 08/00 and earlier. Check the part number on your current spool. This is the same as 22448 4W001 and this part number is on the new spool. The price is GREAT! Manufactured in North America
