Purchased to replace a standard ceiling fan in a child's bedroom with a loft bed where the fan blades were getting in the way of the stairs. It looks cool, but overall the fan is very cheap and feels like brittle plastic from the body to the blades. The setup was one huge PITA, you need someone with strong shoulder muscles to hold the fan in place while you plug it in. wiring, and then screw it to the bracket. Also, the bracket was too big for the switch box, so we had to use a $5 Lowe's matrix switcher adapter. If I could physically see this fan and handle it before I bought it, I probably wouldn't have bought it, but it will work for a while. I find the remote control very annoying as it beeps every time a button is pressed. Overall it works well and looks good, my son loves it and doesn't have to worry about banging his head on the fan blades when he climbs into his bed. The fan seems to move quite a bit of air despite its small size. The only thing that didn't convince me was the price-performance ratio.
