Great shoes for beginners! However, after a few months of use, I felt like I should have bought a better shoe. The lower rubber outsole is quite thick so you don't blow through the toe too quickly, but I mostly didn't trust my feel on the small, thick-soled lugs. I would also recommend shoes for beginners rather than climbing. Size - they stretch a little. I am size 7-7.5 and should have ordered size 37.5 instead of 38.
