As an avid drafter and aspiring comic book artist, I'll start this review by stating that I highly recommend this sketchbook for all levels of creativity. Large size for drawing on the go or creating real masterpieces. The pages are thick and really suitable for all types of media. The cover is softly bound and has a comfortable elastic band that keeps the book closed and prevents other pages from flapping in the wind. It also has a long and comfortable bracket. So far I've used pencils and ink and the pages have held up great. For a small company, they really did their research and came up with a great product for artists. Comparable price is another standout feature, really cheap for all you get. Don't miss this sketchbook, expert or beginner, you should have it. Update: This is new to me, I actually drew in a sketchbook. Yes, each page has some kind of sketch, doodle, or even ink. The first time for me. I have already ordered and received a new notebook and it is already written in pencil. These notebooks are just the right size. Not only because you can get down to business and create something beautiful, but also because it's not so bulky that you can take it with you everywhere. They are really durable too. The elastic you use to hold the book together keeps it elastic. The bookmark is not frayed or torn like many character pads are. And the pocket on the backs can hold a few reference photos, or I use it to hold sketch cards that I also draw on. I uploaded one of the Inktober drawings for you to check out. It was written in pencil and then in ink. The paper held up well. I haven't had any leaks with my ink. I tend to erase more than I should and often tear out pages or erase my drawings. Not in this case. This is a great product with great customer support. A notebook of a real artist!
