We wanted to like it and tried it well, but we will find another solution for drying dishes. We don't use many utensils and the apartment is small with limited counter space so we needed something small and light and it fit the bill. The main problem is that the plush carpet does not absorb moisture at all and cannot drain water. As a result, all the items we had to put on the mat didn't dry and we had to hand dry them. The plastic part for the plates was ok, the plates were dry but the plates only make up a third of the dishes we use. Cutlery didn't dry out when laying on it and cups/pans lying on it couldn't breathe to dry out at all. save your money Buy something that can soak up water or something more absorbent. And take something with you with space for cutlery/dishes. We will do that.
