These covers are very easy to install and very tight. You fail and move on. I have a second one, but only because I prefer the look of black, and because I work from home, I don't mind the clear look. I have worn the black watch on my watch for over 9 months including over 100 hours in the pool teaching scuba diving with no deterioration or damage to the cover or watch. Be sure to remove it and clean the lid and under the lid. It is so dense that nothing can get under it, so over time skin dirt, soap scum, etc. will get underneath and need to be cleaned. Otherwise I leave mine on for a week with no problems.
