ABSOLUTELY theft, insane bokeh, amazing sharpness

First, let me say this: If you're hesitant to buy this lens, DON'T THINK, JUST BUY, PLEASE YOU WON'T REGRET IT ! Especially at such a low price! It's funny how good this little piece of glass is. Serious. I photograph a variety of things, mostly nature, animals and sometimes people (and soon cars). This lens is great for all three and more. I use it on my Sony Alpha A6100 and the photos I was able to take last summer were some of my favorite shots I've taken since getting my first camera last fall. I have many more images on my Instagram: @cloudformedia if you are intrigued by the example photos I have provided. Now I'll go a little further and talk about sharpness, ease of focus, build quality, etc. Sharpness: wow, simple, wow. It's really insane how sharp shots can be squeezed out of this lens. I usually use the Sony SEL 50mm f/1.8 for most of my work and it honestly does a pretty good job with this $250 lens. It's soft in the corners though, but in most cases it can actually work to your advantage (read on to find out why!) Bokeh: ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE Did the makers of this lens copy old powerhouses like the Helios 44? If you're even a little familiar with vintage lenses, you'll be aware of the unique bokeh and background blur effects you can achieve with these lenses. like the Russian Helios, as already mentioned. Somehow this lens manages to reproduce that sweet, sweet, swirling bokeh that you usually only get with old glass. It's absolutely beautiful. I don't know how the aperture blades work or how it relates to the tech behind something like this, but gosh, this lens definitely gives you amazing bokeh. TLDR This is an amazing portrait lens (especially at this focal length!). Easy to focus: If you're buying manual focus lenses like this, first go to your camera settings and enable peak focus, then thank you very much. I actually started out with manual focus lenses and while it takes a bit of getting used to, it becomes a relatively easy and fairly fun activity in a short amount of time. I take about 80% of the pictures I take with this lens. In my experience, it's very easy to focus. I usually stop down to around f/1.8 or f/2.0, but even at f/1.7 the image is still pretty darn sharp. Focusing itself is fairly easy, it's not manual focus-zoom. Basically, if you have focus peaking enabled, you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly. Not to mention how beautiful it is when you get that killer shot knowing you did it yourself! Processing quality: Unfortunately, I have to go into the small blemishes of this lens here. First of all it feels solid in the hands, has a good weight considering the size. However, there was a stutter (?) when trying to change the focus. it locks and loosens a bit (if that makes sense lol). Although, oddly enough, it seemed like he only did it for a short time. However, nowadays it hasn't produced any such "jamming" at all (I've had this lens for a year now, but started using it again about a month ago). On the other hand, what else can you expect from a $28-$35 lens for a $300-$1000 mirrorless camera? All in all, I think this lens is an absolute steal. You get a sleek, portable form factor that's great for travel, fantastic bokeh that looks particularly good in portraits, insane sharpness (that is, all things considered), and a very slim piece of glass that reminds you of lenses from yesteryear will remember. In general, this lens is an extremely worthwhile investment for any photographer. I recommend anyone who wants to add a little flair to their photos to try this lens. especially in this price range! fantastic bokeh that looks particularly beautiful in portraits, insane sharpness (all things considered) and a very smooth looking piece of glass that will remind you of lenses from yesteryear.
