My wife has wanted a gas stove for a long time and when I saw this as the deal of the day I knew I had to get her one. In fact, assembly turned out to be quite easy. The only tool you need is a screwdriver. Having another person to help hold things in place will speed up the build. Mine arrived in perfect condition, no stains, cracks etc. The only difficulty I had was lighting the first time. It took a good minute holding the knob in the HIGH position for the flame to finally come out. One thing should be noted. With my BBQ grill, I like to "let the gas out of the line" before turning it off and covering it. In other words, I will turn off the burners, then turn off the propane, then restart the grill with the propane off. This will remove any residual gas in the line. I did the same here and it lit the flames. Maybe it's because it's new, but maybe I'll have to live with leftover petrol in the line. Be careful. Overall this is a great fire pit and if you're buying one for sale it's awesome!
