Many of the bristles were chipped or broken so they fell off when I started brushing. The mount was fine but there is no block or glue on the bottom to keep them from sliding out when pressure is applied like when you are cleaning something. Well actually the block is small but not enough to prevent some of the bristles from slipping out. Twelve inches is too big for my needs I found. It's probably too big for most uses. I am not discounting this as the length is clearly stated on the product page; However, the poor quality of the bristles means they are quite bulky and prone to damage due to their size. I recommend looking at a brush that is six to seven inches long.
