I would give it 6 stars if I could. I struggled with algae for about 3 months. This thing knocked him out of his rut in 2-3 weeks. It took about 2 weeks, but when it did, the algae were destroyed. It all started with removing some other algae that I believe were feeding the hair algae. As soon as other algae disappeared, hair algae began to disappear. Now I only have to clean the glass once a week. i love this stuff No damage to my coral, fish or inversions.
