Considering the price, the holes for the box had to match. I had to drill the box because the pre-drilled holes were about an inch too small. In addition, the nipple on the hose to which the ventilation hose is attached was too short. You can't use a hose clamp, you have to replace it with a hose clamp so you can tighten it, or it will pop out as the new hose isn't holding much of the hose. I also bought an air scoop and this also had to be adjusted to fit. I had to cut off about an inch to fit the flying box. Both the box and cap said they were made specifically for my 2018 3.5L Tacoma. After all the improvements, I'm happy with the box. Looks great and sounds great!
