This epoxy kit The resin was easy to use. but I had some issues with the very fast running time and softness of this resin. I think it might work better for small castings as it doesn't necessarily have enough strength for large molds. The 500ml bottles of resin and hardener are very large. It is easy to measure and mix equal volumes of both components together. I mixed slowly for a few minutes as recommended and found the mixing worked out fine - maybe more mixing could be better? It flowed very well when poured but began to set noticeably within 30 minutes of mixing. At this point I wasn't quite ready for my setup, so it was difficult to get the bubbles out. I would recommend stopping pouring within 15 minutes to ensure you can get rid of the bubbles before it gets too hard. It blended pretty well with my various glitters, dried flowers and dyes. It also comes out of the silicone mold very nicely. However, upon demolding, I found that the resin in the center of my cast was still very soft and pliable. I'm hoping to fix this by adding more resin, but I'm not optimistic. Overall it seems mostly suitable for small projects (stands and smaller ones) but not as complex to make large casts.
