I'm not a hunter, I was just looking for a battery powered backyard trail camera that can be placed anywhere. While I haven't captured anything "wild" with the camera yet, after setting it up in the yard and living room I was able to test image quality, video and night vision by photographing my dog and moving within sight. I am very happy with my purchase. Also the battery life was much better than I thought! Update: last night the camera snapped a picture of a rat in my yard. It's time to set traps.
